The 22-year-old from Avon is currently facing an OUI charge from a January car crash, court records show.

Police arrested a 22-year-old man from Avon in connection to a fatal Friday night motorcycle crash in Raynham, prosecutors announced.

Raynham police arrested Jacob Larsen, 22, on charges of motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation, operating a motor vehicle while license suspended for OUI, marked lanes violation and failure to yield, the office of Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn said.

Larsen is expected to be arraigned in the Taunton District Court on Monday, the DA said.

On Friday at 11:50 p.m., police were sent to South Street East and Hill Street for a car crash involving a motorcycle, prosecutors said.

Police found a heavily damaged black Harley Davidson along with the driver, 52-year-old Scott Pinche, in the roadway suffering from a “significant injury,” Quinn’s office wrote in a press release.

Pinche was taken to Morton Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, prosecutors said.

“Police also located a White Ford Explorer with heavy front-end damage facing east in the westbound travel lane of Hill Street,” Quinn’s office said.

Larsen was identified as the driver of the Ford Explorer. He remained on scene and spoke to police, Quinn’s office said.

At the time of the crash, Larsen had his license suspended due to a prior OUI charge, prosecutors said.

Larsen is currently facing OUI charges stemming from a January 2026 car crash where Larsen allegedly hit another vehicle head on at a high rate of speed while driving under the influence, court records and a statement of facts said.

Raynham police and State Police are currently investigating the crash, along with the Bristol County District Attorney, Quinn’s office said.

An attorney representing Larsen in his January 2026 charges did not respond to a request for comment Sunday night.
