A man has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a child on a street in Melbourne.
Victoria Police said a 14-year-old girl was waiting at traffic lights on the corner of Sydney Rd and Albion St in Brunswick when she was approached by an unknown man on January 6.
The man allegedly tried to kiss her before she was then sexually assaulted.

Child Abuse detectives investigating the alleged assault arrested a 53-year-old Hadfield man in Brunswick on Friday afternoon.
He has been bailed to appear before Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court on May 21.
