Boston (1-1) won two of its three games against Chicago last season, all without superstar Jayson Tatum. This time, Tatum will take the court fresh off a brilliant 36-point performance in a 107-103 win over the reigning champion New York Knicks.
As for the Bulls (1-2), they hope to bounce back from their 124-120 loss to the Washington Wizards on Friday. One bright spot from the defeat was rookie No. 4 overall pick Caleb Wilson, who dropped 30 points with 14 rebounds in just his third NBA game.
Tip-off for Monday’s Celtics-Bulls showdown is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. with Celtics Pregame Live on NBC Sports Boston.
