Lewis Hamilton has finally opened up about his romance with Kim Kardashian following his second-place finish at today’s Monaco Grand Prix.

The Ferrari driver spoke warmly about the reality television star’s presence at the circuit, marking her debut at a Formula 1 event since the couple began their relationship during the winter.

“It’s amazing to have her come this weekend and have the support,” Hamilton told reporters after the race.

The seven-time world champion added: “It’s amazing to have good people around you and good people supporting you and she does that for me every day.”

Kardashian observed the action from a balcony above the Ferrari garage alongside her sister Khloe before heading down to join team staff beneath the podium for the champagne celebrations.

Hamilton was spotted directing a kiss towards his girlfriend during the traditional post-race ceremony.

The American media personality’s appearance generated considerable excitement in the paddock, with spectators crowding around to capture photographs as she walked through.

Sky Sports commentator Martin Brundle attempted to speak with Kardashian during his customary pre-race grid walk, but her security personnel intervened and waved him away before any conversation could take place.

Hamilton’s runner-up position came after Max Verstappen suffered an engine failure on the starting grid, removing a key rival from contention.

The result represented the British driver’s third podium finish from six races this season, a remarkable turnaround given he failed to reach the rostrum in his opening 24 outings for the Italian team during a troubled 2025 campaign.

His performance in the Principality elevated him above George Russell into second place in the drivers’ standings, his best championship position since 2021.

However, Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli continues to dominate proceedings, extending his advantage to 66 points after claiming a fifth consecutive victory.

Hamilton expressed deep gratitude towards his Ferrari mechanics for their efforts in transforming the team’s fortunes.

“Very, very thankful to my team because coming from such a horrendous year last year finally in the position where I’m reigniting the passion and belief that they had in me when I first joined,” he said.

The 41-year-old acknowledged that Mercedes remain the benchmark, stating the Brackley-based outfit are “clearly a bit ahead of everybody” and that significant development work lies ahead to close the deficit.

He reserved particular praise for Antonelli, describing the young Italian’s performance as “phenomenal” and calling the current period “his moment” in the sport.
