Lahore Whites defeated Faisalabad by six wickets in a rain-affected National T20 Cup 2026 match at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium.
After being put in to bat in a delayed start, the match was initially reduced to 16 overs per side.
Faisalabad were 42 for three in 4.1 overs when rain first interrupted play. After play resumed, the contest was further shortened to 13 overs per side.
A second rain delay occurred with the score at 105 for seven in 9.5 overs, reducing the game again to 10 overs per side.
Faisalabad eventually finished with 106 for seven in their allotted 10 overs, helped by a quick innings from No. 8 batter Mubasir Khan, who scored 26 off 10 balls with one four and three sixes.
Opening batter Mohammad Faizan gave the innings early momentum with a brisk 21 off 11 deliveries, including one four and two sixes.
Attiq ur Rehman added 14 runs, while Asim Ali Nasir and Irfan Khan Niazi contributed 11 runs each.
Ahmed Daniyal was the standout bowler for Lahore Whites, taking three wickets for 17 runs in his two overs. Ubaid Shah claimed two wickets, while Mohammad Rameez took one.
Chasing 107, Lahore Whites reached the target with four wickets down in 9.4 overs.
Openers Muhammad Akhlaq and Muhammad Faiq provided a strong start for the team.
Akhlaq top-scored with 48 off 28 balls, hitting eight fours and one six, while Faiq made a quick 32 off 13 deliveries that included two fours and three sixes.
Tayyab Tahir and Farhan Yousaf added 10 runs each, and captain Aamir Jamal sealed the victory with a boundary off the first ball he faced.
Earlier in the chase, Faiq took apart Mohammad Zeeshan in the fifth over, scoring 26 runs with three sixes and two fours from the first five deliveries before being dismissed on the final ball of the over.
For Faisalabad, Mubasir Khan took two wickets, while Mohammad Faizan and Mohammad Zeeshan picked up one wicket each.
