The Bangladeshi wicketkeeper-batter will depart for his home country later tonight after the start of Saturday’s opening match of the double-header against Peshawar Zalmi at the National Bank Stadium.

Emon played three matches in PSL 11, scoring 71 runs at a strike rate of 161.36. His performances included a quick 45 off 19 balls, featuring two fours and five sixes.

The 23-year-old has also represented Bangladesh in 30 T20 Internationals, scoring 607 runs at a strike rate of 130.25, including three fifties and one century.

Lahore Qalandars are currently placed sixth on the PSL 11 points table. They have played four matches, winning two and losing two, with two points and a net run rate of -0.051.

A win in their next match could move them up to fourth place, overtaking Karachi Kings, as Qalandars hold a better net run rate.
