Keith Urban has been left “devastated” as rumours swirl about his ex-wife Nicole Kidman’s new relationship, fuelling the singer’s fears he has been “replaced” as a father to the former couple’s children.
Nicole is currently on holiday in Italy with their daughters, Sunday, 18, and 15-year-old Faith, after she and Keith finalised their divorce in January this year.
However, the legendary actress has since been spotted with US businessman Michael Reinstein while relaxing on a beach chair in Portofino, according to New Idea.

Although there is no evidence to suggest Mr Reinstein has met the two girls, Keith has been left “speechless” by Nicole’s new relationship, according to an insider source.
“Nicole and Keith had a strict verbal agreement to not introduce new partners to the girls until at least 12 months after their divorce,” the source said.

It is believed Nicole is the girls’ primary residential parent, which entitles her to custody for 306 days per year, and they live with Keith for the remaining 59 days.
Reports suggest the children’s relationship with their father has been tense since the separation in September 2025, fuelling Keith’s fears he is being “replaced” by Nicole’s new man.
“Up until now, he still had hopes there might be a chance at a reconciliation (with Nicole),” a second source said.

“He’s absolutely devastated and is going through that feeling of deep loss all over again.”
Despite Nicole’s rumoured relationship with the multimillionaire Mr Reinstein, it is believed Keith has found a silver lining since the split, according to New Idea.
“If anything, it’s now freed him up to reboot his own post-divorce love life without worrying about upsetting anyone,” the source said.
“He’s crushed, and the last thing he feels like is getting close to someone new, but he knows his ship with Nic has sailed.”
