The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced on Saturday that document verification will be conducted from August 4 to August 8 for candidates who have newly applied for admission to Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses, as well as for those who have not yet completed document verification.
According to KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna, candidates must book a slot through a link that will be released on August 2 before attending the document verification process at the KEA office in Bengaluru.
In a release, KEA stated that candidates who have claimed reservation under any category must attend document verification and produce the original documents relevant to the reservation/category claimed.
Candidates claiming the NRI ward or Foreign Nationals categories, those who have registered for CET-2026 but have not downloaded their verification slip, and those claiming Kannada, Rural, or Linguistic/Religious Minority reservation must attend document verification.
All candidates seeking admission under Categories 2 to 8 of St. John’s Medical College must also attend document verification at the college between August 4 and August 8. However, candidates under Category RC-1 and Category RC-9 are exempt from document verification.
