I’ve had a vasectomy, but I find pregnancy hot…

I don’t get to publish enough on this blog about breeding – until relatively recently, it wasn’t a kink that I shared. But as time goes on I collect more kinks (like Pokémon, one day I hope to catch ’em all) and the more I read about breeding the more I find myself drawn in. There’s something quite primal about pregnancy. I think so, at any rate. As does this week’s guest blogger, who is here with a fabulous explanation of why – despite being resolutely childfree – his vasectomy still gave him some feelings around abandoning the possibility of having sex with someone who’s pregnant…

I’ve had a vasectomy, but I find pregnancy hot…

I’m firmly childfree, as is my partner. So, after a long wait on the NHS, I’ve finally had the snip. The procedure went well, no complaints apart from some bruising, and I feel a general sense of relief that in a few months we can return to unprotected sex after years of condom wearing. There’s been one or two condom slips and pregnancy scares over the years, which is something I don’t want to be dealing with in my mid-forties. I know it’s the right choice, for so many reasons.

I’ve wrestled long and hard with the ‘won’t you get lonely in your old age,’ and ‘who will continue your legacy’ arguments. I’ve made lists and imagined it every way I can. Every time I do, even factoring in raw emotions, wants, and ‘what ifs,’ there are way more cons than pros to me having kids.

I’ve even read the Baby Decision and did the exercises. Childfree still won. In my bones, I know it’s the right decision. But, despite all this, there is a downside that I can’t bring myself to tell anyone, not even my partner: I’m disappointed I’ll never get to experience sex with a pregnant woman.

I may have a unique perspective on this, as I write erotica for a living, and many of my stories feature pregnancy or breeding as their main kink. I also write group scenes, threesomes, and more, but I never once imagined that I would experience anything like that, as I’m happily monogamous. They also feel like ideas purely for the realm of fantasy. But pregnancy? Pregnancy feels like something that many relationships experience, especially if you follow the natural order of finding a partner, getting married, and procreating.

I’m obviously not alone in finding pregnant women sexy. Browse any porn site and you’ll find it has its own category, right there next to the others. It’s the dirty little secret that few people openly admit, but clearly enough of us enjoy it.

What’s the appeal? For me, it’s multi-faceted.

First, there are the obvious physical differences. Watching my wife’s body transform would be one of the hottest things I can think of. The wider hips. The glowing skin and hair. The enlarged breasts with darker, wider nipples. Every partner I’ve been with has had light pink or peach coloured nipples, so there’s an exotic allure there at watching my wife possibly transform into someone I’ve never had before. Someone new and novel.

Then there’s the huge belly. I love a curvy woman, but there’s a difference between the soft jiggles of a bigger belly and the firm dome of a pregnant one. Something about it is mesmerising in a way I can’t explain, if I’m being honest.

There’s also the potential for her libido to skyrocket during this time, for her to suddenly want it constantly, and want to try kinkier things to satiate her appetite, which is another factor. It doesn’t happen to every pregnant woman, but there are enough true accounts (and even more fictitious ones) to know that it does happen to some.

Finally, there’s the obvious one: milk-producing boobs. Anyone who’s even slightly kinky has to be curious what it tastes like, right? I’ve been happily vegan for over a decade, and I’m curious!

The irresistible idea of my wife leaking milk whenever she’s aroused, or outright spurting it out in fountains while she slowly grinds herself on top of me to a noisy climax, is as powerful an image as it is erotic. It also plays right into my joy of messy, fluid-filled sex, now with an entirely new liquid to enjoy! Imagining the chaos during and after a squirt, spunk, and milk-heavy session is hard to put into words.

I’m all too aware that this is a fictionalised version of pregnancy and childbirth. That there would be just as good a chance that my wife would have zero sex drive during pregnancy, or even be downright miserable. That the changes her body was going through were less fun and more of a horrifying thing for her. It’s also just as likely that breastfeeding and lactation would either be impossible or downright painful: this seems likely, as my wife has incredibly sensitive nipples and rarely enjoys breast play.

Finally, there’s the problem of conceiving in the first place. If it doesn’t happen right away or naturally, it can become a massive source of stress for the couple, resulting in medical tests, scheduled sex, and something that was once fun now becoming a burden. Then, there’s the very real possibility that there’s a physical reason for the lack of conception, and the couple has to face their new reality together. Given that my wife has PMOS and the most irregular periods, this was also fairly likely.

Still, despite the reality, I can’t help but wonder if I missed out on something both incredibly kinky and, at the same time, natural.
