Islamabad United have struck a two-for-one trade with Multan Sultans just days before 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11), bringing in fast bowler Salman Mirza in a deal that also includes Nisar Ahmad.
In exchange, Multan Sultans have received Wasim Jr, making it a straight swap of one player for two on paper, with Islamabad adding squad depth alongside a headline pace signing.

The figures attached to the trade show Salman Mirza valued at Rs. 3.92 crore and Nisar Ahmad at Rs. 0.60 crore, taking Islamabad’s incoming total to Rs. 4.52 crore. Wasim Jr is listed at Rs. 4.10 crore, meaning Multan receive that amount in value.
On the stated numbers, Islamabad come out ahead by Rs. 0.42 crore in net value, while Multan opt for a single, higher-priced pace option as they reshape their roster for the upcoming season.
The move is the latest in a busy PSL 11 trade window as franchises reshuffle ahead of the season.
Multan were also involved in another major early-window trade, completing a four-player swap with Quetta Gladiators. As part of that exchange, Multan brought in Ahmed Daniyal and Jahanzaib Sultan, while Quetta received Faisal Akram and Arafat Minhas, as both sides fine-tuned their squads for the upcoming campaign.
PSL 11 is scheduled to run from March 26 to May 3 and will be the first edition to feature eight teams.
