The Tamil Nadu government, on Saturday (May 30, 2026), Issued orders for the transfer of IAS officers including District Collectors and Corporation Commissioners.
Accordingly, R. Kirlosh Kumar has been posted as Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Development.
New Collectors
Sharanya Ari has been posted as Perambalur District Collector while N. Mirunalini who is the District Collector in Perambalur has now been posted as the District Collector of Ariyalur.
S. Malathi Helen is posted as the District Collector of Chennai. M. Sivaguru Prabakaran who serves as the Corporation Commissioner in Coimbatore is now posted as the District Collector of Ramanathapuram.
S. Kavitha has been posted as District Collector of Tiruvallur.
Corporation Commissioners
Veer Pratap Singh who is the Deputy Secretary to Government (Protocol), Public Department, is now posted as the Corporation Commissioner of Tiruchi.
Gaurav Kumar will take over as the Corporation Commissioner of Madurai.
Katta Ravi Teja, who is the Regional Deputy Commissioner of Greater Chennai Corporation has been posted as the Corporation Commissioner of Coimbatore.
Chitra Vijayan who is presently the Corporation Commissioner of Madurai has been appointed as the Regional Deputy Commissioner (North), Greater Chennai Corporation.
