The Hyderabad-based Pakistan Super League franchise is expected to be called Hyderabad Kingsmen, according to reports, as the league’s newest teams move closer to their official unveiling ahead of PSL 11.
While the name has not been formally announced yet, sources say the franchise is preparing a full reveal event where the team name, logo, and kit will be presented. The launch is scheduled to take place at Niaz Stadium, Hyderabad, on February 7 at 6:00pm.
Alongside the branding rollout, the franchise has also made a key front-office appointment. Laura Russo has reportedly been named the team’s Commercial Head, a role that will place her in charge of commercial strategy and partnerships as the Hyderabad project ramps up for its debut season.

Russo is currently serving as Commercial Head for Kingsmen Cricket and is also linked to the FKS Group, the investment entity that secured the Hyderabad franchise in the PSL expansion auction.
She drew widespread attention during the bidding process due to her high-energy presence as Kingsmen pushed through a winning bid to land the Hyderabad slot.
The Hyderabad franchise is part of Kingsmen Cricket’s broader growth beyond the United States, where the group has competed in American cricket leagues, including a title-winning run in 2024. The team has also been linked with Jason Gillespie as head coach for its first PSL campaign.
With the official reveal event now on the calendar, Hyderabad fans are expected to get their first proper look at the franchise identity in the coming days.
