Life, however, continued to test Rana’s resilience. During the recent conflict in Lebanon, she lost her job as a school counselor, a painful setback that could have ended her professional journey. Instead, she chose to invest in herself and begin a new chapter.
She started with a three-day “Change Your Mind” challenge, which later led her to enroll in an intensive four-month coaching program. Through this journey, she earned her certification from The National Federation of NeuroLinguistic Programming, marking a major turning point in her life.
This experience helped Rana shift her mindset, rebuild confidence, and open herself to new possibilities. Along the way, she also learned how to structure and present high-value coaching programs, allowing her to support others in their personal growth journeys.

Social media did not come easily to Rana at first. She struggled with shyness and felt uncomfortable appearing on camera. But with consistency and courage, she began posting daily content, gradually building a strong and engaged online community.

Today, Rana works as a teacher in a public school in Beirut, where she applies both her academic knowledge and coaching skills to support her students. But her work extends far beyond the classroom.
She currently serves as أمينة الشؤون الاجتماعية في أمانة بيروت التابعة للكشاف المسلم (Social Affairs Officer at the Beirut Secretariat of the Muslim Scouts). Through this role, she is developing a social project that focuses on two key groups: young people aged eight to sixteen and elderly citizens.
Her mission for youth is to reduce excessive screen time and help them discover and develop their talents through meaningful activities. For senior citizens, she is working on programs that promote wellbeing, social connection, and dignity.
This initiative reflects Rana’s deep belief in community responsibility and the importance of supporting every generation.
The Power of Self-Belief
Rana’s journey—from being labeled a failure to becoming a respected educator and coach—is a clear reflection of self-belief in action.
“Change starts from within,” she says. “If you work hard and stay persistent, you can achieve your goals. Whoever wants to, can.”
She encourages others not to surrender their stories to circumstances or labels. “Your story is not over,” she reminds them. “Do not let anyone else write your story. Turn the page, even tear the book if you have to, and start again.”
