A man is assisting police with their investigation after a woman was found dead near a highway in Western Australia.
The 35-year-old woman was found unresponsive near the side of Goldfields Hwy in Kalgoorlie, about 600km east of Perth, about 9.55am on Friday.
The grim find was made near Roberts St and police have searched bushland in the area, according to the Kalgoorlie Miner.

She was declared dead at the scene.
Police said on Saturday that a 38-year-old man, believed to have been known to the woman, is assisting Homicide Squad detectives with their inquiries.
WA Police have launched an investigation into the death, and have appealed for information or vision from potential witnesses.
Anyone with information, CCTV footage or dashcam vision from the vicinity of Williamstown Rd and Roberts St, near the Mount Charlotte mine site, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
