The Haitian women’s national team secured qualification for the 2026 Concacaf W Championship on Friday night, finishing atop Group D after a hard-fought 1-1 draw against the Dominican Republic at Stade Roger Zami.
The result was exactly what Haiti needed. Entering the final match with a two-point lead over their Caribbean rivals, a draw was sufficient to claim first place in the group and advance to the prestigious regional championship.
