Govt sought time to decide on Pradhan’s resignation: CJP after meet with ministers

A meeting between Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh, and Cockroach Janata Party’s Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, concluded at the Constitution Club after lasting over an hour. The discussions centred on demands for the Education Minister’s resignation following ongoing unrest regarding education system reforms.

Simultaneously, a Union Cabinet meeting was convened with a single-point agenda focused on introducing sweeping reforms into the Indian education system. Sources indicate that the government aims to immediately disseminate these proposed structural changes to reassure youth while resisting calls for the minister’s resignation.

Meanwhile, the Opposition Congress party is preparing to launch a political move within the next hour to build further political pressure on the administration. High commotion and security presence were reported at the ground floor and lift area of the venue as observers awaited official statements from both participating delegations following the conclusion of the talks.
