Dubai’s iconic outdoor attraction, Global Village, has announced it will reopen following recent adverse weather that briefly closed the park. Visitors can now enjoy a safe and festive experience as the park returns earlier than expected.
The park, celebrating its 30th season, had closed to ensure the safety of both staff and guests. With Dubai’s main roads cleared and public transport fully operational, the park is ready to welcome crowds once again.
A Celebration of Global Cultures
Global Village is home to 30 country pavilions, representing over 90 different cultures. This makes it a vibrant hub where visitors can experience food, art, and traditions from around the world. The reopening ensures everyone can continue exploring these diverse cultural offerings in a safe environment.
Fridays are traditionally the busiest days at Global Village. The park’s regular fireworks display at 9 PM adds extra excitement for families and tourists alike, creating unforgettable moments under the Dubai sky.
Festive Attractions and Events
This holiday season, Global Village is showcasing a stunning 21-meter-high festive tree at the heart of the park. Visitors can enjoy multiple Christmas trees and meet Santa and his elves, making it a perfect destination for families.
Additionally, the park is hosting nightly performances of the classic ballet Swan Lake. Shows are scheduled at 7:35 PM and 9:05 PM, continuing until December 26. These performances add a touch of elegance to the lively and festive atmosphere.

The Roads and Transport Authority acted swiftly to clear accumulated water from main roads, ensuring visitors can reach the park safely. Public transport and surrounding roads are now fully operational, making it convenient for everyone to enjoy the reopening without delays.
