Manjari and Varun’s journey began in childhood, when they became best friends and eventually grew into life partners. Their story became the starting point for a wedding design that was personal, contemporary and rooted in tradition. At the helm of the celebrations, WeddingSutra Favorite – The Stage Craft, led by Pradeep Jaiswani, created distinct design languages for each event while keeping the overall aesthetic cohesive.
“We wanted the design to reflect their journey while giving each celebration its own identity. The idea was to reinterpret traditional elements in a way that felt contemporary and personal to them,” says Pradeep.
The Haldi brought together the cheerful spirit of the occasion with elements inspired by Jaipur’s craft traditions. Sanganeri prints were given a contemporary treatment, with Pink City pink, earthy yellows and subtle heritage motifs defining the colour palette. Set by the poolside, the décor followed a clean, western-inspired layout that allowed the venue’s architecture to complement the design. “For the Haldi, we took inspiration from Jaipur’s colours and Sanganeri prints, but kept the styling clean and modern. The aim was to celebrate the heritage without making the décor feel heavy,” shares Pradeep.
The Sangeet took a more dramatic approach, combining deep midnight blues, soft whites and warm golden accents. A ceiling filled with rice lights created a starry effect, while crystal chandeliers along the passage added a sense of grandeur. Mirrored surfaces, reflective tables, candlelit pathways and floral arrangements brought continuity to the space, with the reflections amplifying the lighting throughout the venue. The focal point was the ‘Garden of Love’, where Manjari and Varun were seated against a setting of florals, foliage, candles and sculptural elements. The stage continued the theme with illuminated arches and a deep blue starry backdrop, with florals woven through the structure. “The Sangeet was about creating an immersive setting without overdoing it. We used lighting, reflections and florals to create a sense of depth and bring the garden and night-sky concepts together,” explains Pradeep.
The welcome lunch was more intimate, with rich natural wood, warm candlelight and table lamps setting the tone. Garden-inspired florals, framed menus and deep burgundy accents added colour, while the combination of rustic textures and refined table details created a relaxed yet polished dining experience.
Across the celebrations, The Stage Craft balanced traditional influences with contemporary styling, giving each event a distinct mood while keeping the couple’s story at the centre of the design.
