Faiza shared the heartbreaking news on her Instagram, writing: “My heart is heavy with grief since I lost my sister. We fought hard to save her, but we failed. Three years of battling cancer was heartbreaking. She was not just my sister but also my closest friend, and I believe she is in a better place now. May Allah protect everyone from this painful disease and grant her the highest place in Jannah.”
She further added: “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return. Please recite Surah Al-Fatiha for my sister, as she is no more. Keep her in your prayers.”
Previously, Faiza Khan had been keeping her fans updated about her sister’s health. One of her Instagram stories read: “These past few months have been some of the most difficult days of my life. Alhamdulillah, we continue to stay strong with faith. I’ve been away from work and social media, focusing entirely on supporting my sister through her breast cancer treatment. She’s currently battling stage 4 cancer, and as a family, it’s been incredibly painful, stressful, and emotionally exhausting. But she’s a true warrior, fighting with courage and strength every single day. We’ve faced many struggles, but we’re not giving up. I kindly ask for your prayers for her speedy and complete recovery. Your support means everything to us.”
