Fahad Mustafa On Actors Running Businesses Through Stars & Shorts Criticism

Fahad Mustafa is a celebrated Pakistani television and film star, loved for his performances in both films and TV, as well as his game show Jeeto Pakistan. He was recently praised for the blockbuster drama Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum and the film Aag Lagay Basti Main, and he is all set to appear once again in the horror film Zombied. Fahad Mustafa often trends on social media due to public scrutiny over his clothing choices and his rifts with senior actors.

Recently, Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat appeared in Maliha Rehman’s YouTube show to promote their film Zombied. In the interview, Fahad Mustafa responded to both the criticism from actors and the trolling over his outfit choices.

Talking about what hurts him the most, Fahad Mustafa said, “Public trolling doesn’t hurt me, but what hurts me the most is people who bash stars to run their businesses. Every time, they are waiting for something to come out; that is scary and damaging for a star. A normal person just says, ‘Oh, this doesn’t look good,’ we hear it and try to improve it. It’s not that they are waiting for an issue to extract the most out of it. Other people are here for clickbait, and the funny thing is they are neither our enemies nor our friends. They are just waiting for something to go viral or become a hit so that they can hold on to it. I am glad that no interview is complete without me. I am being discussed in every way, and it’s good — at least people are talking about me. But getting angry or frustrated over my popularity is not fair.” Here is it the link to the video:

Talking about his clothing choices, Fahad Mustafa said, “I am not careful with what I wear, and that day I didn’t wear anything inappropriate. I don’t do fashion that is too out of the box; I wear what people wear the most. It’s just that I love funky and different outfits. The moment I came here, I loved your outfit and said that I would wear it.” Watch here:
