Alleged gangland crime boss Fadi Haddara is fighting for life after being shot in Melbourne’s inner west on Sunday night.
Police were called to a home on Marigold Avenue in Altona North shortly before 8pm after receiving calls the 48-year-old had been shot while sitting in a vehicle parked in a driveway.
Paramedics raced to the scene where they transported Mr Haddara to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officers are continuing to investigate the incident as the gunman remains at large.
“A crime scene has been established and officers from the Major Crime Scene Unit will attend to process the scene in the morning,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
“At this stage the incident is believed to be targeted.”
