Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) chief spokesperson Saurav Das on Tuesday hit back at BJP MP Kangana Ranaut over her remarks on the party’s NEET paper leak agitation, saying even members of her own party did not take her seriously.
“Even members of her own party don’t pay much heed to Kangana Ranaut or take her seriously, so why should we?” Das said.
Das further claimed that Ranaut was not taken seriously by members of Gen Z, Gen Alpha or other younger generations, adding that she was now a politician.
Das also cited videos from Ranaut’s visits to her parliamentary constituency in which she said she had initially expected the job of an MP to involve little work before realising how demanding it actually was.
“That speaks volumes about her own seriousness,” he said.

KANGANA’S REMARKS SPARK ROW
Das’s remarks came after Ranaut launched a scathing attack on the CJP-led agitation over the alleged NEET paper leak, describing viral videos from the protests as “puke-inducing” and referring to Gen Z as the “generation gutter”.
Reacting to videos from the protests, Ranaut said in an Instagram post that she had never seen so much ugliness in one place.
“The way they speak and the kind of language they are using… everything in each and every frame is so jarring and so crass all at once. Ewwww… who is birthing and raising them?” she wrote.
Claiming that India was “a place of diversely beautiful people, draped in elegance and rooted in cultural sophistication”, Ranaut also targeted the CJP.
“You call yourself cockroaches and look and behave like them as well. There is no paradox or juxtaposition there, just simply subjecting the world to your filth, garbage and ugliness,” she wrote.
She added that watching the videos had left her “scarred” and that she needed “some healing” and a “digital detox”.
MORE PROTESTS ON THE CARDS?
Meanwhile, the CJP has warned of fresh nationwide protests, accusing the Centre of reneging on its assurance to withdraw FIRs against student protesters despite the Supreme Court’s interim relief for those arrested during the agitation.
The warning came hours after the Supreme Court directed states to release all detained students below the age of 18 and those without criminal antecedents who were arrested during the nationwide paper leak protests.
However, the CJP expressed concern over the part of the order allowing governments to continue with existing FIRs and investigations.
The party began its protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on June 6, demanding the resignation of then Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The agitation gathered momentum after activist Sonam Wangchuk began a 26-day hunger strike in support of the demand.
The protest ended on July 25 after Pradhan resigned and the Centre agreed to compensate the families of those who had died by suicide and not pursue FIRs against the protesters, the CJP claimed.
