The Balochistan government has banned all strikes and illegal work stoppages in the education sector under the Balochistan Special Education Services Act 2019, ARY News reported.
The decision aims to ensure uninterrupted academic activities across the province. The School Education Department has declared any strike by teachers or educational staff illegal and warned that authorities will take legal action against institutions or individuals violating the order.
Under Section 6 of the Act, the government has imposed a six-month ban on strikes in all public and private educational institutions. Departmental sources said enforcement mechanisms are in place to penalize violators.
Officials confirmed that the order has taken immediate effect and applies to schools and colleges across Balochistan, emphasizing that the move seeks to protect the public interest and maintain continuity in education.
