Dubai International Marine Club will hold its 2026 Summer Sailing Camp at Bulgari Beach from July 8 to 30, giving young people in Dubai a route into sailing during the school break.
Registration is now open for the camp, which will run every Wednesday and Thursday across July.
The sessions will mix classroom learning with practical time on the water. DIMC said qualified coaches will lead the programme in a supervised setting.
The camp is aimed at children and young people who want to learn the basics of sailing or build on early skills. It will cover core techniques, while also giving participants a chance to develop confidence, teamwork and safe habits around the water.
DIMC also hopes the camp can help identify promising talent who may later represent the club and the UAE in regional and international competitions.
Dubai has a long link with marine sport, from traditional dhow sailing to modern sailing and powerboat events. The summer camp gives families an option for children to spend time on the water during one of the quieter months in the local sports calendar.
Training will take place twice a week at Bulgari Beach. Parents can register through Dubai International Marine Club.
