Dubai Hosted a Meaningful Evening of Cinema, Connection and Celebration

Dubai became the setting for a special private evening as TODA – Theatre of Digital Art, together with Precious People Club, hosted an exclusive screening of Happiness. Socotra: People and Meanings, a documentary by award-winning filmmakers Kristina Kretova and Anna Kameneva, produced by Ekaterina Ivanova with A&K Production.

For Kristina Kretova and Anna Kameneva, it was especially meaningful to present this closed pre-screening in Dubai ahead of the film’s international festival journey, including Cannes. The evening also reflected a powerful collaboration between A&K Production, TODA and Precious People Club, united by shared values of culture, inspiration and human connection.

The program opened with the teaser of the upcoming film Women and Roads. The Way to Yourself. UAE – a gesture of gratitude to the UAE, the country that has become an important part of the team’s life and creative journey. It was followed by the screening of Happiness. Socotra: People and Meanings, a film that invites audiences to reflect on one of life’s most timeless questions: what is happiness? Through its journey to the remote island of Socotra, Yemen, the film reveals moving reflections on gratitude, resilience, friendship and the meaning of a fulfilled life.

The presence of producer Ekaterina Ivanova, who flew to Dubai especially for the event, gave the evening even greater significance. The screening was met with warmth, emotion and heartfelt response from the audience, turning it into more than a cultural event – it became a shared emotional experience.

The evening also marked the first anniversary of Precious People Club, with Liubov Orlykova and Elena Krynytska (Queen of Happiness) on stage, making the moment even more meaningful. As this milestone was celebrated with a film devoted to happiness, unity and human connection. In a time when support and togetherness matter more than ever, the gathering became a reminder of how deeply meaningful stories can bring people together.

A special surprise awaited guests at the end of the evening. Anna Kameneva, also performing under her music name Anna Kam, sang her song “Emirates Vibe.” Surrounded by TODA’s immersive screens filled with visuals of all seven Emirates, she was joined by the audience, organizers and fellow hosts, who sang along together in a heartfelt finale that became a beautiful closing moment of the evening.

The evening left guests with a lasting sense of warmth, gratitude and inspiration – a beautiful reminder that cinema, music and shared emotion still have the power to unite people in the most meaningful way.
