Ronaldo submitted his CV to the proceedings, documenting the honours and distinctions accumulated throughout his career.
The statement explained: “With regard to the mitigating circumstances of having rendered significant services to soccer and having received praise for sporting merit, the defendant Cristiano Ronaldo submitted his sports resume, including the awards and recognitions he has received throughout his career.”
With the ban backdated to the date of the offence, Ronaldo has only 11 days remaining to serve.
