Cosmo’s Midnight to headline Bird in Hand’s sunset garden party

An afternoon of wine in the Adelaide Hills is turning into a dance party this November, with Cosmo’s Midnight announced as the headline act for Bird in Hand’s Sparkling Sounds: Sunset Edition.

The Australian electronic duo will perform at the winery’s Woodside estate on Saturday 21 November, as its gardens become an open-air festival space for music, food and drinks. Running from 3.30pm until 8pm, the event is timed for guests to settle in during the afternoon and stay to dance as the sun goes down over the vines.

Made up of twin brothers Cosmo and Patrick Liney, Cosmo’s Midnight have become a fixture of Australia’s electronic music scene. Their catalogue has amassed more than 440 million streams, with five Gold-certified singles, and their live performances have taken them to audiences around the world. This time, they’ll bring their dance-driven sound to a garden party in the Adelaide Hills.

Getting things started will be local DJ and saxophonist Matt Summut. His set pairs live saxophone with DJ mixes, building the energy before Cosmo’s Midnight take to the stage later in the afternoon.

Bird in Hand’s multi-level gardens will give guests room to move between the music, outdoor bars and places to sit with friends. A dedicated Spritz Station will serve Bird in Hand Sparkling Spritzes, alongside the winery’s still wines. Beer and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available, as well as a selection of house-made food.

It’s a different kind of visit to the Woodside winery. Rather than stopping in for a tasting, guests can spend the afternoon exploring the gardens, finding something to eat and drink, and catching two performances in the open air. As the light starts to fade, Cosmo’s Midnight will take over the soundtrack.

Sparkling Sounds brings live music back to the estate with a format that makes the most of its vineyard setting and the warmer weather. The sunset edition is an 18+ event, with tickets priced at $79.99 per person.
