COMING SOON: popular CBD eatery ‘Dino’s’ is opening a second venue with Greek breakfasts, cocktails and Mediterranean flavours

A popular modern Greek street-food eatery is spreading its wings this July, with Dino’s announcing a second venue that’s set to bring its signature Mediterranean flavours to Adelaide’s west.

Opening on Henley Beach Road in Lockleys, the new venue is part of an exciting expansion for the hospitality brand, transforming Dino’s from a bustling CBD lunch destination into a full all-day dining experience.

Founded by restaurateur Andrew Papadakis and co-founder Giuseppe Nasti, Dino’s has built a loyal following on Hindley Street thanks to its fresh Greek-inspired menu, quality ingredients and relaxed hospitality. Now, the team is taking everything people already love about the brand and expanding it into a neighbourhood venue.

“The city venue caters to office workers, visitors and people wanting a quick, high-quality meal in a busy environment,” shared Andrew.

“Lockleys gives us the opportunity to create a more neighbourhood-focused experience. It’s still casual, it’s still Greek, but it allows us to offer coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails, wine and a broader menu that encourages people to stay a little longer.”

Andrew says the original Hindley Street restaurant is the “express” version of Dino’s, while Lockleys represents the brand’s full vision. “We’re not changing what Dino’s is. We’re evolving it for a different location and a different customer. The quality, value and hospitality remain exactly the same. This new venue allows us to showcase more of what we can do with our partners.”

The expanded menu reflects that philosophy, with everything from breakfast through to dinner on offer. Guests can expect D’Angelo coffee from morning until night, alongside share platters, premium steaks, Mediterranean-inspired pasta dishes, seasonal specials and the Dino’s favourites that helped put the restaurant on Adelaide’s dining map.

The drinks list is also getting an upgrade, featuring Greek wines, South Australian wines, Greek beers and a range of non-alcoholic options.

Joining the business as a partner is respected Adelaide chef and hospitality veteran Joseph Vaccaro, whose career covers more than 30 years and includes senior roles at Chicco Palms and The Greek on Halifax.

“I’ve worked across every aspect of hospitality, from catering and kitchens through to front-of-house and operations,” said Joseph. “This partnership allows me to be involved in every part of the business and create a venue that genuinely serves its community. This is a new adventure for me.”

Inside, the venue will have a warm, contemporary Mediterranean aesthetic, with natural textures, modern finishes and a welcoming atmosphere suited to everything from a morning coffee catch-up to relaxed family dinners.
