This week Postcards explores the best of Australia’s vibrant culture and stunning landscapes, from the milestone 40th anniversary of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival to the sun-drenched shores of the Gold Coast and the creative hubs of regional Victoria.
Shane Delia travels down the beautiful Surf Coast to Anglesea (Wathaurong Country), starting with a visit to the Anglesea General Store before heading to the Last One Inn for a South American-inspired feast with owners Josh Morris and Jorge Guerrero.
His journey continues to the historic Aireys Pub, a welcoming watering hole that predates the Great Ocean Road itself, and is known for its incredible beer garden and live music.
Up in Queensland, Kris Smith showcases the enviable lifestyle of Burleigh Heads (Bundjalung Country). After a scenic trip along the Oceanview Walk through Burleigh Heads National Park, Kris visits the latest $5.6 million Mater Prize Home in Burleigh Waters.
To top off the day, he stops by Next Door Burleigh for drinks and Mediterranean vibes.
