The Cleveland Browns are bringing in new faces to their coaching staff, as
Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reports that a couple of former NFL players are landing jobs with the AFC North Division franchise.
“A source tells @CBSSports that the #Browns have added two ex-players to their staff — ex-NFL linebacker LaRoy Reynolds and ex-NFL running back DeMetricFelton. Reynolds played linebacker in the NFL from 2013-21. Felton played for Cleveland in 2021 and ‘22. Now working there,” Zenitz shared in a social media post on X, formerly Twitter.
The Browns are starting a new era after parting ways with their now former head coach Kevin Stefanski, who was fired following the team’s 5-12 showing in the 2025 NFL season. Succeeding Stefanski is Todd Monken, the former Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator, who is now an NFL head coach for the first time.
The 35-year-old Reynolds went undrafted in 2013 before being signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars that same year. He also had stints as a player with the Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, New York Jets and Falcons.
The 27-year-old Felton, on the other hand, is no stranger to Cleveland. The Browns took him in the sixth round (211th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He played two seasons with the Browns before moving on to the Cincinnati Bengals. Felton also signed with the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Commanders.
The Browns are looking to turn things around after two losing seasons, with Reynolds and Felton looking to help the team achieve that goal in their own ways.
