Central Coast’s squad rebuild ahead of the 2026/27 Ninja A-League campaign has continued, with the Mariners announcing the signings of forward Talia Kapetanellis and midfielders Te Reremoana Walker and Charlotte Lancaster.
The trio join the Mariners after impressing in the NPL Women’s NSW competition, with Kapetanellis and Walker both arriving from APIA Leichhardt.
Kapetanellis previously featured in the Ninja A-League with Western Sydney Wanderers in 2024/25 before rebuilding her form with APIA.

The forward scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists during the 2026 season, earning a return to the national competition with the Mariners.
A former New Zealand youth international, Walker was part of Wellington Phoenix’s inaugural Ninja A-League squad in 2021/22 and has since established herself in the NPL Women’s NSW competition, helping APIA reach the Grand Final in both 2024 and 2025.
The midfielder featured in 25 of APIA’s 30 matches across all competitions during the 2026 campaign before making the move to the Central Coast.
Meanwhile Lancaster returns to the Ninja A-League after spending the 2025/26 season with Newcastle Jets.

The New Zealand international has also enjoyed an extensive NPL career with APIA, including a Sapphire Cup title and NPL Team of the Year recognition.
She returned to Lambert Park this season and scored in the club’s APIA’s NPL Women’s NSW semi-final on September 5, while she was also selected for the Auckland FC Women’s Invitational XI that faced Chelsea FC Women at Eden Park in August.

“From the moment they arrived, they have fitted into the environment exceptionally well.
“It already feels like they have been part of the club for years, which is a great reflection of both their character and the culture within our playing group.”
“I have no doubt that our training environment will bring out the best in all three of them.”
The signings come as the Mariners continue to build their squad for the new season, with all three players set to join pre-season training ahead of their opening match against Brisbane Roar at Spencer Park in Queensland on Saturday, 17 October.
