Brisbane Roar have signed Philippines international midfielder Katrina Guillou ahead of the 2026/27 Ninja A-League season.
The 31-year-old joins the Roar from USL Super League side DC Power FC, bringing more than 40 international appearances and extensive professional experience across Europe and the United States.
Guillou was part of the Philippines squad that made history at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the nation’s first appearance at the tournament, and was named Philippine Women’s Football Association Player of the Year that same year.

The midfielder previously played in Finland, Switzerland and Sweden after a standout college career at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
Roar head coach Johnathan Clemente welcomed Guillou’s arrival as a major addition to his squad.
“Katrina’s a technically gifted and extremely hard working midfielder with experience playing at the highest level in Sweden, the USA and at the World Cup. She is a massive coup for the club and we’re excited to have her.”
Guillou said she was looking forward to testing herself in the Ninja A-League.
“I’m excited for this next chapter and opportunity to compete and push myself. I’m looking forward to the competition and everything that comes with it.”

Guillou is the club’s second signing of the off-season following the arrival of Adelaide United legend Isabel Hodgson, but comes after the club also announced the departure of fan favourite Momo Hayashi, who moves on after two seasons in Queensland.
Hayashi is the 10th player from last season’s squad to depart Brisbane Roar and follows the likes of Dutch attacker Bente Jansen and Matildas icon Tameka Yallop out the door.
The club has also been busy when it comes to re-signing some of their most promising young players including Australian internationals Grace Kuilamu and Sharn Freier as well as midfielder Zara Kruger and defender Josie Studer.
Brisbane will kick off their 2026/27 Ninja A-League campaign at home to Central Coast Mariners on the Saturday, October 17.
