BPD Release Photos of Second Suspect in South Boston Lemonade Stand Robbery

Investigation Update: Detectives assigned to District C-6 (South Boston) are seeking the public’s assistance in efforts to identify the individual in the accompanying photos as it relates to an ongoing armed robbery investigation in South Boston.

On June 12, 2026, detectives assigned to District C-6 (South Boston) arrested a 14-year-old juvenile male in South Boston. The suspect is expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court on charges of Delinquent to wit; Armed Robbery (two counts) and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (two counts).

Detectives are actively working to identify the second individual involved in this incident. See photo below.

The facts and circumstances of the initial incident are as follows:

At approximately 4:44 PM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, officers from C-6 (South Boston) responded to a radio call reporting an armed robbery in the area of West Ninth Street, South Boston.

On arrival, officers spoke to the victims, two children who had been operating a lemonade stand at the location. The victims stated that the unknown suspects made several passes by the stand before approaching and asking whether Apple Pay would be accepted as payment.

Before the victims could respond, the suspects grabbed a box containing U.S. currency. One suspect then displayed a black firearm in his waistband before both individuals fled the area.
