Three people have been arrested after an alleged shooting murder in a Melbourne high-rise apartment block.
Police launched a manhunt to track down the alleged offenders involved a brutal attack in the early hours of Thursday morning at Box Hill.
Emergency services responded to reports of an altercation on the 11th floor of the residential building on Whitehorse Road at around 1.50am.

A 32-year-old man, who yet to be formally identified, died at the scene from fatal gunshot wounds.
Detectives swooped on the trio in the Talbot, Maryborough, and Bonnie Brook areas late on Thursday evening.
Two 47-year-old men from Bonnie Brook and a 27-year-old woman from Maryborough were arrested and are being interviewed about their involvement in the alleged killing.
Police are treating the incident as targeted.
All residents of the building were evacuated to street level for a number of hours as police swept the building following the incident.
One resident interviewed by 7NEWS said she could hear screaming after the incident.
“There was a loud noise and then the fire alarm went off,” the woman said.
“It was really, really tragic to hear the screams of the family members.”
