Ticker News has announced the launch of Ticker Air, a brand new weekly show dedicated to covering the business, news and movements of the aviation industry.
With the growing appetite for travel and aviation showing no signs of slowing, and airlines around the world overhauling their aircraft fleets, Ticker News believes the time is right to launch a program dedicated to the sector.
“Aviation is a true passion, and from a country like Australia – a nation of travellers – who love to travel the world, we are in the perfect position to cover this amazing industry,” said Ahron Young, CEO of Ticker.
“As the sector grows Ticker Air will be a regular check in for the industry on the things that matter most – be it the business of aviation, changes to the travel and tourism down to the ever-shifting frequent flyer points system that so many travellers now rely on.”
Ticker Air will feature weekly interviews with the newsmakers, executives, journalists and analysts driving the aviation world, offering viewers a front-row seat to the industry’s biggest stories.
The show will be hosted by aviation journalist Ahron Young, who has covered the industry for more than 15 years. Young has reported from Boeing’s headquarters in Seattle, was on board the inaugural Qantas Perth-to-London route, and has covered major aviation conferences in Miami and Geneva.
He has also covered some of the biggest stories in modern aviation history, including the MH370 mystery as it unfolded, the MH17 disaster, and the Boeing 737 MAX crashes and subsequent investigations.
