Auckland FC will welcome English giants Tottenham Hotspur to New Zealand this winter as part of their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2026-27 Isuzu UTE A-League campaign.
The Premier League side and current UEFA Europa League winners will be visiting New Zealand as part of the New Zealand International Football Festival which gets underway in July.

Scheduled to take place at Eden Park, on Sunday 26, July, the game represents a significant landmark in Auckland FC’s short history and huge moment for the growth of the game in New Zealand.
“This is a huge occasion for the club, for football in this country, and most importantly for our fans,” says Auckland FC CEO, Nick Becker.

“We haven’t had a club of this size in New Zealand for over 10 years. Now clubs like Tottenham are seeing what we’re doing over here, the growth of football and our passionate fanbase and wanting to get involved.”
“It is going to be fantastic event for Auckland and a great chance for some of our squad to really test themselves against top-class players,” added Becker.
“Whatever happens to Tottenham this season they remain an incredibly high-profile team with a worldwide fans base, and we’re delighted to have them here in Auckland with us.”
The New Zealand International Football Festival is a celebration of football’s ability to connect communities, inspire the next generation, and deliver world-class sporting experiences. Blending global icons with the rise of the local game, the festival will see a range of activity across Auckland, including open training sessions and corporate events to complement the on-field action.

“Auckland FC have done wonders for football in the city since the club came into existence two years ago,” said Auckland Mayor, Wayne Brown.
“Their CEO Nick Becker and his team have created a loyal and passionate fan base from nothing. It’s been fantastic to see so many people regularly turn up to their games at Go Media Stadium.
“Tottenham Hotspur are known as a team that always tries to play attractive football, so hopefully it will be a great game at Eden Park.”
Prior to their visit to New Zealand Spurs will be over in Australia to take on both Sydney FC and fellow Premier League side Chelsea as part of the Sydney Super Cup.

Tickets for the New Zealand International Football Festival will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, 7 April at 10:00am via Ticketek.
Ahead of that there are several pre-sale windows fans can take advantage of. These include:
- Wednesday, 1 April 2026 at 10:00am → Thursday, 2 April 2026 at 10:00am
- ANZ Visa cardholders will receive exclusive early access to tickets for Tottenham Hotspur v Auckland F.C at Eden Park, with a dedicated pre-sale opening on 1 April for one day only. Eligible customers can purchase tickets using their ANZ Visa debit or credit card. Terms and conditions apply.
