Asma Abbas is a regular digital vlogger, and she often shares her opinions on various social issues and human behaviors. This time, she opened up about husbands’ apathetic or detached behavior towards their wives after a certain age.
Talking about it, she said, “Husbands don’t talk. By talk, I don’t mean that they don’t speak; they don’t communicate with their wives. They don’t say things like, ‘This dress looks good on you’ or ‘You are looking pretty,’ they don’t say anything which makes women believe that the love between spouses still exists. Is it necessary that after the age of 40 or 50, you become serious and keep ranting about things that bother you, like ‘Give me the AC remote,’ ‘Prices are increasing,’ and this and that? They become so boring. Eighty-five percent of men are like that. They also speak negatively about other people’s children while praising their own children, although children are not always good. There are many children who kill their parents or throw them out of the house, but men are blind in their love for their children. It is often said that men like other people’s wives and their own children. Earlier, old women used to be bad examples in the society, but now old men have replaced them. All they do is talk unnecessarily about different things and annoy people. They are not interested in their wives but in everything else, like politics, rising prices, and other issues. Women continue to give the same attention to men, but men don’t. When women dress up, they are appreciated outside their homes, but their husbands never offer a single compliment.” Watch here:
