Seven have announced that Olympic champion Ariarne Titmus will join its broadcast team for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, marking her latest move from the pool into television.
The retired swimmer continues to build a growing media profile after stepping away from competition, appearing on a new reality series on Nine this year, working across its swimming broadcasts and now joining Seven, where her father Steve Titmus is a sports presenter.

As the nation counts down to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, the Seven Network today announced one of Australia’s greatest ever swimmers, Ariarne Titmus, will join its stellar on-air team for the Games, broadcast live, free and exclusively on Seven.
Fresh from a glittering career in the pool that captivated the nation, Titmus will bring her unmatched insight, experience and athlete-first perspective to Seven’s coverage as the network’s swimming mixed zone reporter, where she will speak directly with our golden swimmers, moments after they leave the water.
Collecting four Olympic gold medals across the Tokyo and Paris Olympics, as well as three silvers and a bronze, on top of her seven Commonwealth Games gold medals, the 25-year-old has delivered some of Australia’s most memorable sporting moments on the world stage.
Now, she will take viewers behind the scenes of the competition, offering raw, immediate reactions from the heart of the action.
Titmus said:
“I’m really excited to be joining Seven for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.”
“Swimming has given me so much, and I’m looking forward to being part of our Australian team’s journey, in a slightly different way this time around.”
“During my career, I had so much respect for the mixed zone reporters that we regularly met with post-race, including Nathan Templeton, Giaan Rooney and so many more.”
“To have the opportunity to follow in their footsteps for such an important international event is very exciting.”
“The Commonwealth Games mean so much to the athletes competing and I cannot wait to be on deck to deliver more incredible historic moments from the pool, live and free on Seven and 7plus Sport,” she said.
As part of Seven’s comprehensive coverage, Titmus will also lead key behind-the-scenes athlete interviews to be broadcast throughout the Games coverage, sitting down with many of her former Australian swimming team teammates.
The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games starts Friday, 24 July, live and free on Seven and 7plus Sport
