Five persons were killed and 15 others critically injured after an explosion rocked a house and its neighbourhood at Kummaravandlapalle village of Kadiri mandal in Sri Sathya Sai district on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Viswanath Reddy (while undergoing treatment in Kadiri hospital), Mabunni, Madhu, Aslam Basha, and Fakruddin.
