American Airlines has announced that it will resume service to Haiti beginning November 1, 2026, becoming the first major U.S. airline to restore flights to the country since operations were suspended in late 2024 due to ongoing security concerns.
The airline will initially offer service to Cap-Haïtien, Haiti’s second-largest city and a key gateway to the country’s northern region.
