The brand’s Devereux Blazer is made a poly-wool blend fabric and features structured, padded shoulders with white chiffon trim along the hemline and sleeves. The blazer’s silhouette—inspired by a mix of a bodice and a penguin tailcoat tuxedo—is further accentuated by the plunging neckline and minimal button closures. The straight-fit trousers and a black lace bralette underneath softened the severity of the tailoring while adding a feminine touch to the monochromatic palette.
Stylist Priyanka Kapadia Badani accessorised the look with Christian Louboutin’s Miss Z 100mm leather pumps and stud earrings from Mumbai-based brand Kaj Fine Jewellery. Bhatt’s beauty look focused on a natural, luminous base with winged eyeliner, defined lashes and nude-pink lips. Her hair was styled in sleek, side-parted lengths worn loose.
From Vogue’s fashion desk:
“Rethink a structured suit with a summer-worthy twist. Pair a fitted pinstripe blazer perhaps with a pair of classic pedal pushers. Add on a pair of sunnies, a mini bag and y2k-inspired heel sandals to complete the look,” says Divya Balakrishnan, Vogue India fashion associate.
