Ali Tahir Shares His Views on Second Marriage

Ali Tahir is a seasoned Pakistani stage and television actor who got fame through hit PTV sitcom Teen Bata Teen. His other hit dramas include Ajnabi Raastey, Inkaar, Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay, Shirin Farhad, Zard Patton Ka Bunn, Qalandar, Sher and others. He is recently getting praise for his impeccable acting in Mirza ki Heer. Ali Tahir is the son of senior artist, educationist, and writer Naeem Tahir and renowned radio personality Yasmeen Tahir. He is happily married to former actress Wajeeha Tahir.

Recently, Ali made an Appearance in ARY Digital’s morning show Good Morning Pakistan, hosted by Nida Yasir. In the show, he elaborated the conditions regarding permission of second marriage in Islam.

Talking about it, Ali Tahir said, “We sometimes forget about the basics. We don’t follow religion in its true essence for example if we talk about the multiple marriages’ permission in Islam , the second marriage or four marriages are allowed in certain situations, and it is said to us to be equal and fair which is a difficult condition. Men are also warned about multiple marriages. And if second marriage is happening it should be done with mutual consent, if both wives & Husband are on board, go for it. Rubina Ashraf said that she hasn’t ever seen a scenario where all three parties are happily agreed on second marriage. The second marriage is never an ideal situation and it doesn’t work. Ali Tahir also added that it’s not an ideal situation for man and he faces the circumstances.” Watch here:
