An Adelaide jewellery business has celebrated a huge weekend of success, taking home three major industry awards recognising exceptional design, emerging talent and leadership.
Hazelwood Park-based Martin Rogers Jewellery won three of the four awards it was nominated for across the Jewellery Industry Network Awards and Diamond Guild Australia Awards, with three members of its team recognised for their contributions to the jewellery industry.

Director and Master Jeweller Andrew Mitchell led the celebrations with two wins, while Clare van Rossen received an award recognising her emerging talent. Fellow team member Shanti Toh was also named a finalist for her innovative jewellery creation.
At the Jewellery Industry Network Awards, Clare received the Rising Star Award, recognising emerging professionals who demonstrate outstanding promise, commitment and potential within the industry.
Andrew was also honoured at the event, taking home the Leadership Excellence Award for his dedication to strengthening the jewellery industry and supporting those around him.
His winning streak continued at the Diamond Guild Australia Awards, where his extraordinary creation Emergence claimed the Solitaire Award.
Inspired by the geometry of a snowflake at the moment of formation, the design features a hexagonal diamond suspended above a sculptural foundation finished in black nano-ceramic coating.
The striking contrast creates the appearance of a diamond emerging from darkness, with the piece exploring themes of gravity, balance and light.
Shanti Toh was also recognised at the Diamond Guild Australia Awards, becoming a finalist in the Emerging Talent category for her creation Flow.
Inspired by her travels in Japan, the multifunctional design can be worn as a ring or pendant or displayed as a decorative ornament. Drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese temple metalwork, the piece features textured metal shaped into soft, cloud-like forms.
For Andrew, the recognition was particularly meaningful given the calibre of talent across both competitions.
“To be recognised by my peers in this way is a real honour,” Andrew said.
“The calibre of work and nominees across both awards was outstanding, and I want to congratulate everyone who was nominated. For the team and me to be nominated felt surreal, so to win three awards is something we’ll never forget. I’m especially proud of Clare for her Rising Star win and of Shanti for her beautiful work on Flow.”
Established in 1989, Martin Rogers Jewellery has been part of Adelaide’s jewellery industry for more than three decades, specialising in bespoke fine jewellery, custom engagement rings and heirloom pieces.
The Hazelwood Park business has built its reputation on traditional craftsmanship and individual designs, with the latest accolades recognising both the experience of its established jewellers and the next generation of talent.
As a member of Showcase SA, Martin Rogers Jewellery is also part of a broader network of South Australian businesses working to strengthen local industry and connections.
Showcase SA Co-Founder and CEO Steve Testar said the team’s success was something the wider South Australian business community could celebrate.
“Representing South Australia on a national platform and achieving three major wins is beneficial and inspirational for all SA businesses,” Steve said.
The recognition across two national industry events puts another spotlight on the quality of craftsmanship and creative talent coming out of Adelaide.
