Talking about it, Shamoon Abbasi said, “A major issue has occurred in this country, an issue that cannot be forgiven. And that issue is Bushra Ansari wearing Hindu-style bindi on her forehead. Bushra Ansari! Why did you do it? It wasn’t your job? You are not an actor; you are a teacher. What does a teacher have to do with a bindi? You have upset a nation that has been dancing to the Bollywood tunes for decades. They have been dancing on Dhurandhar tunes for three months. You have made this Bollywood-loving nation angry just by putting a bindi on your forehead. Always remember, you are a teacher—you should not have worn this getup.
