From Passion to Purpose Across Media, Business, and Impact

Ahmad Issa is a Lebanese TV presenter, journalist, entrepreneur, and designer currently based in Canada. His journey is not one of overnight success, but of early passion, reinvention, and persistence. From hosting events as a teenager in Lebanon to building influential media and humanitarian projects internationally, Ahmad Issa’s story reflects dedication to craft, culture, and community.

Discovering Media at a Young Age

Ahmad’s journey in media began remarkably early. At just 16 years old, he was already hosting gala dinners, school events, and college functions. From the beginning, it was clear that media was not simply a career option for him, but a deep-rooted passion. He was naturally drawn to the stage, the microphone, and the power of communication.

This early exposure shaped his confidence and presence, laying the foundation for a future in television and journalism.

A Breakthrough on One of Lebanon’s Biggest Stages

Ahmad’s first major breakthrough came through Studio El Fan, one of Lebanon’s most prestigious and influential talent competition programs, known for launching some of the Arab world’s biggest stars. Competing in the TV hosting category, Ahmad earned the Golden Medal, a defining milestone that opened significant doors within the media industry.

This achievement validated his talent and positioned him as a serious media professional at a young age.

Building Experience in Journalism and Television

Following Studio El Fan, Ahmad began working as a journalist at Sawa Magazine, while simultaneously developing his own television concepts. His ambition extended beyond being on camera. He wanted to understand media from every angle.

He later prepared and worked on his own television program at MTV Lebanon, gaining hands-on experience both in front of and behind the camera. This period helped him refine his voice, storytelling ability, and technical understanding of television production.

Representing Lebanon on a Regional Platform

In 2015, Ahmad was selected as the only Lebanese participant to compete in Mozee El Arab, a major television show held in Abu Dhabi. Competing on a regional level, he proudly achieved a winning position, adding an international dimension to his growing career and further strengthening his media credentials.

Leadership Beyond Media: Hospitality and Business

Alongside his media career, Ahmad built a strong professional background in hospitality. He worked as Director of Sales and Marketing for Warwick International Hotel Chain, where he developed expertise in leadership, branding, and business strategy.

This experience later played a critical role in shaping his entrepreneurial mindset and understanding of brand building.

Starting From Zero Again in Canada

In 2017, Ahmad made a life-changing decision to move to Canada and start from scratch. Like many newcomers, the transition was challenging. He worked in several jobs outside his field, including hospitality and service roles, just as he had earlier in life.

This phase tested his resilience, but also strengthened his work ethic. Ahmad firmly believes that starting from zero is often the first step toward becoming stronger, and this chapter became one of the most defining periods of his journey.

Rebuilding Media Presence With Canada Arab News

Determined to reconnect with media, Ahmad launched his own television program, Canada Arab News. The monthly show consists of four episodes per cycle and focuses on Canadian news, social issues, and stories from the Arab community.

The program became a cultural bridge, connecting communities and amplifying Arab voices across Canada while allowing Ahmad to rebuild his presence authentically.

Seven Years With Taste of the Middle East Canada

For seven consecutive years, Ahmad worked as PR and Media Manager for Taste of the Middle East Canada, one of the country’s leading cultural and culinary festivals. In this role, he played a key part in shaping the festival’s media strategy and public visibility, celebrating Middle Eastern heritage through food, culture, and storytelling.

The Birth of the Lirtena Campaign

In 2022, following the Beirut port explosion, Ahmad launched the Lirtena Campaign, a humanitarian initiative created to support Lebanon. The campaign carried deep symbolism. Ahmad collected old Lebanese 50-lira coins, known for their unique octagonal shape, and transformed them into meaningful jewelry pieces.

These pieces were sold worldwide, with profits donated to help Lebanon. What began as a single bracelet evolved into a full jewelry line, including chokers, cufflinks, lapel pins, and more.

Ahmad Issa Jewelry and Global Recognition

The success of the Lirtena Campaign led to the official establishment of Ahmad Issa Jewelry, where design meets meaning. The initiative received extensive media coverage, including features and interviews with CBC News, CTV News, and numerous international TV channels, newspapers, and digital platforms.

The Lirtena bracelet was worn by leading Arab celebrities such as Haifa Wehbe, Elissa, and Myriam Fares, amplifying its message of unity, heritage, and hope.

Life Today and What Lies Ahead

Today, Ahmad continues to work across media, entrepreneurship, and social initiatives. He balances television, brand leadership, and humanitarian impact while preparing a major global project aimed at creating influence beyond borders.

His story is not only about success, but about persistence, reinvention, and the belief that no job is beneath a dream. Ahmad Issa stands as a reminder that passion, when paired with resilience, can build a legacy that crosses industries and cultures.
