The wait is over to see what New Years Eve and New Years Day will look like in your area this year.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has issued its seven day forecast which now goes out to cover both Wednesday, the last day of 2025 and Thursday, the first day of 2026.
Some revelers may need to move indoors due to unfavorable conditions while others can soak up the clear warm conditions for the ultimate firework celebrations.

Sydneysiders will experience a partly cloudy but warm day in the countdown to midnight on Wednesday. BOM has warned of the slight chance of a shower later in the day as well as the chance of a thunderstorm.
