Emily In Paris
Thursday, streaming on Netflix
Emilyâs in Paris. Except sheâs not â this season sheâs back in Rome, heading up the Italian offices of Agence Grateau. But weâll allow it: we watch this for the exotic locations âon the continentâ, so France or Italy, it matters not â weâre along for the ride regardless.

âThis season is a tale of two cities: Rome and Paris,â creator Darren Star recently told Netflix.
âStraddling both, Emily takes love and life to the next level.â
Last time we saw our petite cherie, she was settling into her apartment in Rome, living the life we all wish we were living, and falling into the arms of handsome Italian scion, Marcello Muratori (Eugenio Franceschini).
There will be more of all that, but weâve not left behind Emilyâs Parisian peeps just yet â theyâll all pay a visit this season, with both Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) making an appearance in Rome to keep our heroine on her toes.
Lily Collins, who plays Emily, says sheâs pleased her character is off exploring new horizons and new romantic connections in season five.
âMarcello is a whole other adventure that we want for Emily, because we ultimately want Emily to be able to have a better work-life balance,â she said.
âWe want to have Emily be able to smile without condition. We want to see her beyond her vacay mode. And he comes at that perfect time.â
This show is the perfect âsecond screenâ series and producers know this, which is why they go light on the plot, heavy on the fizz. Not that weâre complaining: Iâm not ashamed to admit that Iâve done a 180 on this show and am now looking forward to this next season.
Wherever Emily goes, it appears I will follow â love this adventure for us both.
Fallout
Wednesday, streaming on Prime Video
If youâve played the video game, youâll have an idea of whatâs ahead this season, but for those not in the know, Lucy (Ella Purnell) and The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) are off through the Mojave Wasteland to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas in their hunt for Hank (Kyle MacLachlan).
The world-building in this series, which is based off the popular video game, is incredible and worth the price of admission even if youâve no interest in the gaming IP itâs based off. Worth discovering.

I get an unexpected thrill seeing stars pop up on networks that arenât their own. I know, I need to get out more.
So imagine how chuffed I was to see Larry Emdur, Leigh Sales, Angela Bishop and Karl Stefanovic battling it out on Hard Quiz? Whatâs not to love about listening to Leigh talk about 80s TV, or Angela Bishop wax lyrical about Phil Collins? Tom Gleeson sledging Karl Stefanovic about drugs was also an unexpected delight. This is absolutely hilarious â seek it out.
Born To Be Wild
Friday, streaming on Apple TV Plus
Sometimes you just want to sit back and immerse yourself in a beautifully-shot nature documentary. And this one, narrated by Hugh Bonneville, is an absolute delight.
It follows six rare animals across three continents over several years as they make the transition from hand-reared babies to a life in the world. Either orphaned or born via conservation programs, theyâre destined for a life back in nature, and this tracks their progress.
