Dubai’s outdoor season is set to kick off in style as the Dubai Racing Carnival returns to Meydan Racecourse on Friday, 6 November 2026. The season opener will combine live horse racing, dining and hospitality experiences, and an after-race party led by internationally known DJ SLIM.
With cooler evenings bringing the city’s social scene outdoors, Opening Night offers racegoers an opportunity to enjoy one of Dubai’s signature sporting experiences. From the excitement of the Parade Ring to the roar of the crowd as horses race towards the finish line, Meydan Racecourse is preparing to welcome the return of the Carnival.

DJ SLIM to Bring the After-Race Energy
The celebrations will continue after the final race, with DJ SLIM taking to the decks in the Paddock Garden. His set will be open to all racegoers, regardless of ticket category, bringing music and entertainment into the heart of the evening.
A familiar name on Dubai’s music scene, DJ SLIM has recently appeared on Coca-Cola Arena line-ups alongside artists including Timbaland, Pitbull, Ricky Martin, Alan Walker, Benny Benassi and MORTEN. He has also performed alongside international names such as Akon, Tyga, Usher, A$AP Ferg and Rihanna.
His appearance at Meydan is set to add a festival-style atmosphere to the Carnival’s return, as guests gather to celebrate the start of another racing season.
Fashion Friday Returns in January
DJ SLIM is also scheduled to return to Meydan on Friday, 22 January 2027, for Fashion Friday, one of the Dubai Racing Carnival’s most stylish nights.
The event will offer another opportunity to bring together racing, fashion and entertainment, adding to the season’s calendar of social highlights.
