Woofstock Dubai is a dog-friendly festival organised by Doggie Adventures UAE. Now in its fourth year, the event brings together dog owners, pet lovers, rescue organisations, trainers and pet-related businesses for an afternoon dedicated to dogs.
The festival is designed to be more than a typical pet gathering. It gives dogs opportunities to socialise and play, while owners can discover useful training advice, meet animal welfare organisations and explore products and services for their pets.
What to Expect at Woofstock 2026
1. A Dedicated Off-Leash Play Area
One of the biggest attractions is the dedicated off-leash zone, where dogs can run, play and interact with other four-legged visitors.
It offers an opportunity for sociable dogs to burn off energy and enjoy some freedom in a designated space. Outside this area, dogs must remain on a lead and with their owners.
2. Free Dog Training Classes
Owners can take part in free training sessions led by an expert trainer. These classes provide practical guidance on everyday dog behaviour and help owners develop better ways to communicate with their pets.
Whether you are dealing with an energetic puppy or looking to improve your dog’s social behaviour, the sessions offer an opportunity to learn something useful.
3. Meet Vets and Dog Handlers
Veterinary professionals and dog handlers will be present throughout the event to offer advice and information.
Owners can use the opportunity to ask questions about pet care, behaviour and general wellbeing. It is also a useful chance to learn more about responsible dog ownership.
4. Support Local Dog Rescue Organisations
Woofstock also highlights the work of rescue organisations helping dogs across the UAE.
Visitors can meet representatives, learn about their rescue efforts and discover ways to support their work. The festival offers an opportunity for people considering adoption to understand more about animal welfare.
Importantly, proceeds from dog tickets are donated to participating rescue organisations, giving the event a charitable element alongside its entertainment programme.
5. Dog-Friendly Arts, Crafts and Workshops
The festival includes creative activities and educational workshops designed around pets and their owners.
Visitors can explore dog-friendly arts and crafts, pick up practical information and enjoy activities that make the experience more interactive than a regular day out.
6. Food Trucks, Music and Shopping
There will be plenty for human visitors to enjoy, too. Food trucks, refreshing drinks, live music and entertainment will keep the atmosphere lively throughout the afternoon and evening.
A shopping village featuring pet and lifestyle brands, along with artisan stalls, will also give visitors an opportunity to browse accessories, products and other items for themselves and their furry companions.
7. A Dedicated Kids Zone
Families bringing children along can explore the dedicated Kids Zone. This makes Woofstock a family-friendly outing rather than an event exclusively for pet owners.
Even visitors who do not have a dog can attend and enjoy the atmosphere, meet rescue organisations and spend time around the animals.

Important Rules Before Bringing Your Dog
Woofstock has entry requirements designed to help keep dogs and visitors safe. Owners should prepare before arriving.
- Vaccinations: Dogs must be fully vaccinated. Bring their vaccination records for checks at the entrance. The organisers provide a waiver option for dogs without a Kennel Cough vaccination, subject to their conditions.
- Sociability assessment: Dogs are assessed at the entrance and receive a colour-coded leash sleeve to indicate how they should be approached.
- Leash requirements: Dogs must remain on a lead throughout the venue, except inside the designated off-leash area.
- Collars and equipment: Prong or pinch collars, electronic shock collars, certain slip leads and choke chains are not permitted.
- Other animals: The event is specifically for dogs, so cats, rabbits, birds and other pets should be left at home.
- Clean-up: Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.
The colour-coded sleeves help visitors understand each dog’s comfort level around other people and animals. Green indicates dogs that are happy to be approached, orange means approach carefully, and red indicates that the dog needs space.
