Lowe and Painter share three daughters: Mabel, 17, Fiona, 13, and Nixie, 10.

In an emotional tribute, Mabel remembered her younger sister with a series of throwback photos and videos capturing the siblings growing up together.

“I love you so much Fiona. I wish your short time here was easier and I hope your mind is at ease now,” Mabel wrote.

“I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I love you, I hope you knew just how much.”

Lowe, the Emmy-winning star of Life Goes On and Pretty Little Liars, and Painter announced Fiona’s death in a statement on Wednesday.

“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona. She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance,” the couple said in a statement to Page Six.

“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives.

“Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time.”

Fiona was approaching her 14th birthday on November 16.

Lowe’s father, Charles “Chuck” Lowe, was one of the first to publicly pay tribute to his granddaughter, taking to Instagram a day after the announcement of her death.

“Rest in peace sweet Fiona,” he wrote, later sharing more photos of all three sisters together.

A source told People magazine Fiona’s school and community were uniting to honour her memory.

“This is a devastating time for the community,” the source said.

“Fiona was sweet, quiet and kind. Dance was her biggest passion, she had a very artistic soul.

“She was always kind to other students. Many of her friends are out today grieving.”
